When you get dental care from an in-network dentist, you receive a higher level of coverage. This is because we are negotiating our services and rates with the insurance company. We do everything we can to leave you with the lowest price for the services that you receive. Everyone’s plan is a little bit different, but here is what a typical United Healthcare plan might look like.

  • 100% coverage of preventive services
  • 80% coverage of minor restorative services
  • 50% coverage of major restorative services

When you pay for your monthly premium, you gain access to your benefits. They are good for an entire calendar year, so you can attend your cleanings and checkups and receive lower rates on restorative treatment if needed. After meeting your deductible, your out-of-pocket costs will be even lower.

The Benefits of Seeing an In-Network Dentist

We are in-network with United Healthcare. This means that your dentist has a contract with the insurer to establish a fair and average fee for covered dental services that they agree to charge. United Healthcare than covers a percentage of the cost for their patients.

Alternatively, out-of-network dentists can charge higher fees for their dental services, but you need to pay the difference in price in addition to your out-of-pocket percentage of the insurance’s pricing. By choosing an in-network dentist, you know that you will be left responsible for the lowest possible cost. Give us a call to schedule your appointment.
